OCM Managers must have a mindset shift and ask themselves, “How can I or my direct reports be using AI to be more effective and efficient?” Using AI for administrative tasks like report generation, tracking, project progress, data entry, and analyzing data can help leaders and their direct reports become more efficient. AI can also synthesize large amounts of data, identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for ongoing business cases to make leaders and their direct reports more effective.

If change management leaders want to stay ahead of the curve, they must embrace the technology and change that comes with AI. By keeping a pulse on how to use AI to their advantage, as well as how AI impacts organizations, OCM leaders can better provide value to clients. Above all, OCM leaders must remain the human voice for employees and customers through AI strategic roadmaps and expanding the use of AI across organizations.
